Manipur Electricity Employee Union (MEEU), working president, Yumnam Pratap said that MEEU has distributed awareness pamphlets of reliable power supply to educate its people of the state across all the valley districts. In a press conference held today at the office of Electricity department Yumnam Pratap said that electricity has become a necessity element in our day to day lives and to avail it 24 hours the state needs maximum unit of energy. He further said that employees of the electricity department cannot guard like a security person and investigate the power theft activity thus people’s support is required and he further appealed to all the people to realize the value of electricity which has become an essential element in our day to day lives. He added that the awareness pamphlets will soon be spread to all the remaining hilly districts of the state.
