Of Rs. 500 denomination

Sir,
You may be aware that, only Rs. 500 notes are found or available in the ATM machines in Imphal or elsewhere in the state. This unseeingly is causing a lot of inconveniences to the retailers and customers. A customer has to run hither and thither with a Rs. 500/- currency note if he has to buy something that cost Rs. 40/- or 50/ as the retailer or vendor do not have enough change. If most of the customers have only Rs. 500/- notes to buy one kilo of Onion or potato for instance or say some veggies for Rs. 40/- or 60/- the vendors also have to face the inconvenience of finding change for want of Rs. 100/- and 200/- notes.
As such of take this opportunity to request the bank authorities or whomsoever is responsible, to make some alternative arrangement to make available the currency notes of Rs. 100/- and 200/- for at least once a week to the teller machines.
