The Imphal West Students’ Club (IWSC) Khumbong, in collaboration with the Fruits Plantation Mission (FPM) Manipur, has organized a felicitation programme to honor the successful candidates of Class X and XII from BOSEM, COHSEM, and CBSE for the years 2023 and 2024.
The event, held at the TWSC Community Hall, Khumbong, featured the presentation of the 5th and 6th Taorem Kulachandra Memorial Merit Awards, generously donated by Dr. Taorem Yaikhomba Khuman, Managing Director of Angel Children Hospital, Uripok. These awards aim to recognize and encourage academic excellence among the students of Khumbong.
The programme was graced by Dr. Thokchom Meinya, Ex M.P. Lok Sabha, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Kolom Rabi, Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Breeding), ICAR-KVK Tamenglong and President IWSC, Khumbong, as the President. Among the Guests of Honour were Atom Kumar, Patron of IWSC, Kolom Momon, Patron of IWSC, Yurembam Sarat, Social Thinker, Khomdram Satradhari, Advisor of IWSC, Smt. Konjengbam Guni Leima, President of Panthoibi Chanura Meira Lup, Khumbong, Khangembam Ranjit, Advisor of IWSC, Atom Nikunja, Senior Lyricist at AIR Imphal, Kolom Naba, Advisor of IWSC, Nongmaithem Jiten, Secretary of the Bazar Board Welfare Committee, Dr. Mutum Dinachandra, Agriculture Specialist, Wayenbam Nodha, Social Worker, Atom Meghajit, Advisor of IWSC, Oinam Samarendra, Ex-President of IWSC, Longjam Robert, Intellectual, and Longjam Lokendro, Chairman of FPM Manipur.
