Patriotic Writers Forum (PAWF), Manipur, commemorated the 24th death anniversary of Arambam Samarendra at Nungshikol Park in the Lamlai constituency. The program saw the participation of Meiteis from Bangladesh.
Laimujam Pratap Singh, Assistant Secretary of the Patriotic Writers Forum (PAWF), Manipur, issued a statement on the occasion of the 24th death anniversary, stating that Arambam Samarendra was an important figure in the history of Manipur.
Chana Lukhoi, the Chief Guest of the event, remarked that those who killed Arambam Samarendra would have felt regret.
Additionally, P. Biprachand, the Forum’s Vice President, attended the event as the acting President, alongside esteemed Patron Members from Biramangol College, Sawombung, and Dr. Laishram Landhoni, HOD of the Manipuri Department, who graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
Those from Bangladesh who attended the program, namely Rajib Konthoujam, Dijen Ngangbam, and Apu Ngangbam, also provided aid to victims of the conflict who are now residing in the Relief camp.
