Foreign models will walk down the ramp for the cause of needy children of the state in a fashion event called Vogue Looms which will be jointly organised by Velvet Ladders and Attitude – X tomorrow at Imphal Hotel.
Addressing a press conference today at Hotel Yaiphaba, Imphal, Director and Founder, Velvet Ladders, S.H. Rose said the event is a charity show which will be participated by five foreign models from Germany, Russia and Ukraine including the Miss World of Freedom, 2011, Gulcin. Rose added that the event is being organised for the cause of needy children of the state. The organising committee along with the foreign delegates had yesterday gone to a children centre located at Tera. Gulcin and the other models felt emotional while interacting with the needy children yesterday. Rose added that 20% of the revenue they receive from the event will be contributed for the welfare of needy children of the state. All over 15 models will be taking part in the fashion event and the pugilist, Laishram Sarita will be the grand ambassador whereas Gulcin, the former Miss World of Freedom and the proclaimed Model of the state, Lin Laishram will walk down the ramp as show stoppers.
