4 civilians injured in grenade blast at Yumnam Khunou

At least four civilians were injured when a hand grenade blasted today morning at around 11.30 am at Yumnam Khunou Makha Leikai under Sagolmang Police Station.
The four injured are identified as Laishram Pilot (20), son of L. Shyam of Yumnam Khunou, Taorem Suresh Singh (15) son of T. Binoy, Laishram Ishwarchandra (13) son of L. Nanao @ Jiten and Laisharm Dina Devi wife of Laishram Pilot.
Sources said that the blast took place at the residence of Laishram Saratchandra of Yumnam Khunou Makha Leikai under Sagolmang Police Station of Khundrakpam assembly constituency. It added that the injured lady Dina was washing clothes when the blast took place while Pilot along with the three others was fixing spates. Reports added that the hand grenade was kept in a hunting boot and was assumped blasted after one among the injured moved the booth without knowing that the booth contain bomb.
Pilot and his wife, Dina got injured at right hand, left abdomen, left leg and right foot and Suraj was hurt at left and right arm, both side of chest and stomach.
The four injured are presently undergoing treatment at JNIMS emergency ward.
