DLC Chandel organizes awareness programme for MSMEs under RAMP Scheme

The District Level Committee (DLC) of Chandel district, under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme, on Saturday organized an awareness programme for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) along with a Udyam registration drive at Lambung Village under Chandel Block.
The event, initiated under the General Manager of the District Industries Centre, Manipur, was attended by prominent dignitaries, including DLC-RAMP Chandel Chairperson Th. Bijoy Singh, who is also the GM of DIC Chandel; Lead District Manager for RAMP Chandel, Altias A; SDC/BO Chandel, W. Promilata Monsang; and Chief of Lambung Village, Lh. Noah.
During the session, Th. Bijoy Singh highlighted the benefits of the RAMP project and the importance of Udyam registration for MSMEs to access various schemes and support.
The Lead District Manager for RAMP Chandel delivered a keynote address on financial literacy, discussing the role of financial institutions in supporting MSMEs and enabling access to RAMP scheme benefits.
The programme concluded with words of gratitude from DLC member St. Wanhring, followed by Udyam registration for participants, facilitated by the District Manager of CSCs Chandel. The event drew members of village authorities, farmers, SHG representatives, and villagers, showcasing a collective effort to empower local MSMEs.
