Relief materials distributed to flood affected victims; Holds free health camps

The Razia Sultana Memorial Trust, Manipur, extended humanitarian aid to flood-affected residents of Kshetri Mayai Leikai and Kongpal Mutum Leikai by distributing essential relief materials and organizing free health camps.
Dr. Abdur Rahman Chisti, Founder of the Trust, stated that the initiative was part of the organisation’s ongoing commitment to reaching out to communities in times of crisis. “We established this Trust in the name of Razia Sultana with the vision to serve society with compassion and dedication. We will continue to take up various social welfare activities in the future,” Dr. Chisti said.
Relief items were distributed at the NEFSA Complex in Kshetri Mayai Leikai, targeting residents severely affected by the recent floods. A free health camp was also conducted at Rahmania High School in the same locality, where patients received medical check-ups and essential medicines at no cost.
In Kongpal Mutum Leikai, the Trust collaborated with EDO Club to organize a similar relief and health outreach programme at the club premises. Local residents were provided with basic supplies, while a team of doctors and staff conducted health check-ups and distributed free medicines.
Dr. Rukshana Chisti, a key member of the Trust, highlighted the organisation’s mission to stand beside the underprivileged and marginalised. “Inspired by the selfless nature of my late father, we are committed to reaching those in need and will continue our service in future as well,” she said.
The relief and medical outreach was made possible through the collective effort of Trust members, doctors, and support staff who worked tirelessly to deliver aid to those in distress.
