The Zeliangrong Football Association (ZFA) inaugurated its new office on May 19, 2025, at the Zeliangrong Building, Kahulong, Paona Bazar, Imphal. The office was formally opened by Dinganglung (Dipu) Gangmei, Chairman of the Hill Areas Committee (HAC) and MLA of 54-Nungba Assembly Constituency, who also serves as the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament 2025.
The ceremony was attended by key community leaders, including Athai Kamei, Acting President of the Zeliangrong Union (AMN), and Aguilung Gangmei, President of the ZFA.
Marking the occasion, the ZFA also officially announced the commencement of the 14th edition of the Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament 2025, scheduled to begin in the first week of October. The prestigious tournament is exclusively open to teams representing the Zeme, Liangmai, Rongmei/Kabui, and Puimei communities from the states of Assam, Manipur, and Nagaland.
This year’s tournament will offer cash prizes.
