MPSC to conduct Limited Departmental Examination

According to a notification issued by Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC), Limited Departmental Examination, 2023 will be conducted tentatively in the last week of November 2023. The examination is for all Officers of the Government of Manipur for whom Departmental Examination is mandatory in accordance with the Services/Recruitment Rules. The detailed schedule of the examination will be issued after receiving the application of the candidates.
The departmental examination that is mandatory in accordance with the Services/Recruitment Rules includes IAS/MCS/Jr. MCS/Election Officer; IPS/MPS/SI/ASI of Police; IFS/MFS Grade-II officers; Inspectors of Co-operative Deptt.; Inspector of Taxation; Inspector & Asstt. Inspector of Excise; Officers of Manipur Finance Services Grade-III and Jamadars of Manipur Rifles Battalions.
Officers seeking admission to the examination must apply only through the Commission’s website www.empscmanipur.gov.in in the prescribed online application process w.e.f. 5 PM of October 12 up to 5 PM of November 10, 2023. The prescribed application form, relevant syllabi, and scheme of exam can be downloaded from the website of MPSC at www.mpscmanipur.gov.in. Offline applications will not be entertained or allowed for the examination.
Further, in another Notification from MPSC, Limited Qualifying Speed Test Examination for Stenographer Grade-II & I, 2023 in the scale of pay of Rs. 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- in accordance with the Rules published by the Government vide Notification No. 1/69/77-RR/DP dated 04.09.1979, No. 1/50/86(Rules)/DP dated 17.10.1992 and No. 1/50/86(Rule)/DP(Pt) dated 11.01.2018 and RRDP-13/1/2021-DP-DP, dated 21-11-2022 will also be conducted tentatively in the last week of November 2023.
