Minister Satyabrata calls out to the public for promoting young visionary leaders in future

CAF & PD Minister Th.Satyabrata said that the players in Manipur should be given proper training, diet and grooming so that they are able to perform well at the international level.He also suggested opening an academy in the name of IPU Maichou Taret so that the youths can be trained in different field of sports and represent the country. He was speaking as chief guest in the closing ceremony of the 2nd IPU Maichou Taret Ningshing 7-Men A-Side Knock Out Open Football Tournament 2021 held on Sunday at Wangoo village, Kakching. The final match was played between the 5 Brothers F.C. and Karish F.C. at Wangoo Sabal Playground.
Chairman M.B.O.C.W.W.B MLA H Dingo and Deputy Speaker Manipur Legislative Assembly MLA K Robindro, and social activist Shanjoy Ahanthemalso shared the dais with the Minister at the function as guests of honour and president respectively.
Minister Th.Satyabrata also highlighted that the Government is ready to extend full support if any need and contingency arises in the effective functioning of the academy. “ I will surely convey the memorandum of repairing roads on the way from Moirang to Wangoo via Kumbi to the Chief Minister in the Covid 19 Consultative meeting to be held later in the evening at CM’s office. We will try our best to convert the memorandum into action”, he assured.
The Minister also suggested electing young, dynamic visionary leaders from Kumbi and Moirang constituencies for a better Manipur.
He also donated Rs.50,000 cash to the organisers of the tournament.
Seven colours of Paphal Flag was hoisted followed by a cultural show before commencing the final match.The flag was later lowered when the function came on an end.
