Lions Clubs extend relief support to flood-affected families in Wangkhei

In a humanitarian gesture towards flood-affected families, the Lion Club of Imphal Valley and Lion Club of Imphal Valley Next Gen handed over essential edible items to the Social Upliftment Club of Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal, Makha Leirak for distribution among victims of the recent floods that occurred during the month of June.
The relief materials, comprising rice, dal, edible oil, and other food essentials, were handed over on July 1 as part of the Lions’ ongoing community service initiatives. The aid aims to provide immediate support to families severely affected by the floodwaters that inundated several areas across the Imphal Valley.
Earlier, on July 3, former District Governor of Lions Club International District 322D, Lion Kesho Singh, along with other senior Lion members, had also extended similar assistance to the club members for onward distribution to the flood-hit households.
The Social Upliftment Club expressed gratitude to the Lions Clubs for their timely and continued support during this challenging period.
