The inaugural session of the 2nd Faculty Induction Programme commenced at the Conference Hall of the College of Agriculture, Iroisemba, CAU, Imphal, today. The event was graced by Honourable Vice Chancellor of CAU, Imphal, Dr. Anupam Mishra, who presided as the Chief Guest. Prof. Indira Sarangthem, Director of Instruction and Dean, served as the President of the function, alongside Prof. Ranjit Sharma, Director of Extension Education, Dr. L. M. Garnayak, Director of Research, and Dr. Ng. Iboyaima, Dean of COFT, who were the Guests of Honour.
In her opening remarks, Prof. Indira Sarangthem welcomed all attendees and underscored the significance of the 2nd Induction Programme themed ‘Developing Successful Research Grant Proposals’. She encouraged active participation, urging participants to approach the programme with openness to garner a productive and enriching experience.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Dr. Anupam Mishra highlighted the programme’s role in establishing an Inter-Institutional platform for capacity building. He endorsed the concept of a borderless institution and emphasized education’s crucial role in fostering inclusive development.
