ABVP Manipur to contest MUSU Election

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Manipur, has officially announced its decision to contest the upcoming Manipur University Students’ Union (MUSU) Election 2025-26. The organization stated that the list of its candidates will be released shortly.
A statement by the students’ body said that the decision to participate in the MUSU election was taken during ABVP Manipur’s recent State Executive Council Meeting. The student body also affirmed that it would take part in elections in other colleges and universities across the state if they are conducted.
Speaking on the announcement, Gautam Philem, State Secretary of ABVP Manipur, said, “ABVP is fully prepared to contest the MUSU election this year. We believe the students of Manipur will extend their strong support to us. ABVP works tirelessly among students and society for the betterment of education, culture, environment, seva, and sports. With this commitment, we are confident of emerging victorious.”
