Wol-media, is organising its 2nd Red-carpet event on October 11 for the premier of “Amukta Ani” at BOAT. The Manipuri video film “Amukta Ani” is directed by Romi Meitei and is produced by Jenny Khurai.A press conference in the regard was held today at Manipur Press club. Speaking to Media Person Director of Wol-media James Mayengbam said that this year’s red carpet event will be more improvised.He said, “After setting the trend of Red carpet in Manipur, we have seen movie premiers following the same fashion and we take that as a positive sign form Manipur Film Industry. “This year we are planning to improvise to a more advanced level which will mark a new and an important position in the history of Manipur,” James added.The Wol media is planning a new concept this time. They will be introducing an event called “Khongul”. Each year the footprints of two renowned artists will be engraved on the tablets that will be preserved eternally. Fashion show and other extravaganzas will be the part of the event.
