Student Wing JCILP says they will not talk with government

Co-convenor of the Student Wing of JCILP, Sanasam Subash today said that the student wing will not take part in the talk between the government and the JCILP. This was in condemnation to the arrest of JCILP activists from its head office at Nongmeibung in connection with the incident that happened between one Yengkhom Davson and the JCILP members.In a press conference held today, the student wing convenor said that Yengkhom Davson had interfered the activities of the JCILP activists without having any respect for the peoples’ movement. He said the his sister Y. Victoria had supported her brother and acted beyond her jurisdiction.The student wing co-convenor further said that the police team had arrested 11 JCILP activists however, two of the student wing volunteers identified as Bijen and Manoharmayum Sumanta has not been revealed.He said the student wing will intensify the protest.
