The Manipur Naga Revolutionary Front (MNRF) has issued a press statement in response to recent allegations circulating on social media. The accusations, made by one Abraham Naga Manipur, claim that the MNRF operates under the patronage of the NSCN/Naga Army Chief and are in collaboration with the UNLF led by Pambei.
In their statement, the MNRF expressed reluctance to dignify such accusations with a response initially, but deemed it necessary to address the matter to prevent misunderstandings among citizens. The MNRF asserted its commitment to its ideology, rights, and identity.
Directing their message to Abraham Naga Manipur, the MNRF warned against making baseless allegations without understanding the MNRF’s aspirations and objectives. They emphasized the distinction between the MNRF and the NSCN, stating that while both have revolutionary goals, they operate independently with their own ideologies.
Regarding the allegations of collaboration with the UNLF, the MNRF dismissed them as products of personal disgruntlement or frustration. They clarified that the MNRF does not share a common ideology with the NSCN or the UNLF, despite facing similar adversaries in their revolutionary movements.
The MNRF addressed Abraham Naga Manipur’s credentials, suggesting that he lacks the qualifications to challenge the MNRF’s existence. They criticized his reliance on social media for making baseless accusations and urged him to focus on more constructive pursuits for his own well-being.
