Imphal, May 19:
A new book titled “Waroipot,” authored by Chingtham Achouba and published by NP Publication Centre, Wangjing Sorokhaibam Leikai, was released today at the Manipur Press Club. The release event was organized by NP Publication Centre.
The book was officially unveiled by Prof. Nahakpam Aruna, former Dean of the School of Humanities at Manipur University. Distinguished guests, including Sahitya Akademi Awardee Kshetri Bira and Nongmeitham Kirankumar, President of the Manipuri Literary Society, Imphal, attended as Chief Guests.
Prior to the book’s release, retired senior lecturer Saikhom Chaoba delivered an introductory speech, highlighting the book’s key points and its significance. The event celebrated the literary contributions of Chingtham Achouba and marked an important milestone in Manipuri literature.
