Manipur youth conferred National Youth Award 2015

A young and dynamic youth Thokchom Jibon Singh aged 21, a founder member of Club25 International Manipur, son of Thokchom Madhu Singh of Khangabok Makha Leikai part III has been awarded the prestigious ā€œNational Youth Award 2015ā€ by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India for his contribution towards community and humanitarian services. The award consist of a cash of Rs 40,000 with a medal, a shawl and a citationĀ  will be presented to him during the ā€œNational Youth Festivalā€ from 12 January to 16 January,2016 held atĀ  Raipur,Chattisgarh.
Apart from his humanitarian services, he is also honoured for his participation in the two biggest world youth events ā€œThe Global Youth Meets 2014 and ā€œThe World Youth Summit 2015ā€has made a big platform for his career of youth empowerment under the guidance of Kanarjit Kangujam,a well known social activist from Manipur. Not being a member of the rescue and relief team during the Nepal Massive Earthquake, he also received several other awards like ā€œInternational Humanitarian Award 2015ā€,ā€Best volunteer Award 2014 of Club25″.
