Day after various Naga civil society along with the Naga Peoples’ Font has criticised for his statement regarding the presence of anti social element in the Ukhrul rally, deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam today said that certain anti social elements were present in the Ukhrul rally and took advantage in the presence of the innocent cicilian. Speaking at the sideline of the inaugural function of a temple at Sagolband Bijoy Govinda today morning, Gaikhangam said that some people acted upon the security force from among the civilians taking part in the rally by concealing their identities. He said these people are using the innocent public and take advantage of the situation.Talking tough, Gaikhangam cautions the anti social elements however said that the government will behave the way the anti social element behave.On a query about the ongoing indefinite blockade along the National High ways, Gaikhangam said that the blockade might give some effect to the transporters but assured all possible security measures to ensure safety of the transporter. Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam is also in charge of Home Department.He further appealed the business men in Imphal area not to hike the price of essential commodities by taking advantage of the ongoing blockade.
