Imphal, July 4:

Oinam Romen Singh, a dedicated social activist, in collaboration with EC Club, undertook the distribution of jarred drinking water to address the acute shortage caused by severe flooding in Singjamei Assembly Constituency.
Addressing the pressing need for clean drinking water in the inundated areas, Oinam Romen Singh emphasized the humanitarian nature of the initiative. He stated that it is his moral obligation to provide assistance during such critical times, highlighting that the primary motive behind his actions is solely to aid the affected population.
“This effort is not driven by political motives but by a genuine desire to alleviate the hardships faced by the people in these flooded areas,” Oinam Romen Singh affirmed during the distribution event.
He expressed his commitment to continue supporting the welfare of constituents in distress, noting the challenges faced by his team in accessing flooded areas just two days prior.
