Blessing ceremony of Ngakuimiza Asai held

Imphal, Nov 13: Even though no official announcement has been made by the BJP on whether the party, which is in power at the center and whose popularity is gaining absolute momentum in the state of Manipur, will be fielding candidates in all the 60 Assembly segments in the upcoming 11th Manipur Legislative Assembly, the party had showed signed to make sure that a BJP candidate will be fighting the election from 44- Ukhrul Assembly Constituency.
BJP ticket aspirant Ngakuimiza Asai, is going ahead a step forward from other BJP ticket seekers in the constituency to fight the upcoming Assembly poll. A blessing ceremony for his candidature was held at New Delhi BJP office on November 11 in the presence of Delhi BJP leaders Prasant Arora and Manas Deka. Both are influential functionaries of the Delhi Unit BJP. Besides the two functionaries three women representatives of the BJP Manipur Pradesh were also attended in the blessing ceremony. Those attended state BJP women leaders are Mrs. Sorojini Devi, Mrs. Promodini Devi and Mrs N. Jeevanmala Devi.
Besides the BJP functionaries large numbers of his supporters from Ukhrul Assembly Constituency were also present during the blessing ceremony.  
Mentioned may be made that NPF candidate Samuel Risom got elected in the last Assembly Election but the seat now is vacant after Risom along with 3 other NPF candidates tendered resignation over the passing of the IFPS related Bills by the Manipur Legislative Assembly.
