Army organises medical camp at primary health centre,Tamei

IMPHAL, Aug. 10: Tamei Battalion of Senapati Brigade, under the aegis of Red Shield Division organised Medial Camp at PHC Tamei on 6th Aug 2016. District Medical Officer,Tamenglong, DrAzin, CaptSatish, Medical Officer Tamei Battalion, DrAdani and Dr Robin, MO PHC Tamei, two MOs from Tousem Sub Division, MO District hospital,Tamenglong attended the medical camp together with paramedical staff.186 patients of different age groups including women and children from various villages of Tamei Sub Division received medical consultation, treatment and medicines during the Camp.  The aim of the camp was to provide the much needed medical relief to the people of remote villages. The Medical Officers also imparted information about prevention of Japanese Encephalitis, malaria, skin diseases, water borne diseases, personal hygiene, water sanitation and prevention of HIV/STD’s. The villagers appreciated the noble effort and  requested to organize it again in near future too.
