In a major break through, a team of Imphal west police Commando today arrested 3 IRB personnel and 2 VDF personnel for their alleged involvement at various anti social activities in the state. According to a highly place source, the three IRB personnel – one from the 4th IRB and the other two from the 5th IRB were hunt down by the police team after their name has been revealed by a kingpin identified as Atao Rahman who was arrested by combined troops of Imphal West CDO, Thoubal CDO and 40 Assam rifles. He was arrested for his involvement to the bomb attack at Amway office Mantripukhri, Eastern Motors, Omega Diagnostic Centre and 40 AR Post some days back along with huge consignment of weapons and ammunitions including Anti tank rocket launcher from a hide out. The source added that Atao Rahman who is in police custody had revealed that he worked under one person identified as Boiler of KYKL. Investigation is still on, added the source.
