Time management:
Remember that JEE Main 2021 exam is not about high attempts but about accuracy and speed. Keep solving questions in cycles until 35 to 40 minutes are left. Then, check your answers and you can save around 10 minutes. After that, you can go for the questions for which you feel confident that you can solve them in the remaining time. This will get you some extra marks and prove to be a big advantage for you.
Candidates are advised to try all the above strategies in their JEE Main 2021 mock tests and see which is the most effective one for them. Subject selection may change for the different students based on their mastery over those subjects.
Proper revision: Before the day of the exam, just revise the important formulas and theorems . If possible revise them from your formula book or handbook. This will help you in not losing your focus on the whole derivations and questions.
Don’t study anything before exam day: Students are advised not to stress much before the day of the JEE Main 2021 exam as it will lead them to overthink about the exam. Do not pick any new topic to study as it may cause panic.
Sleep early and eat well: Candidates should sleep and eat well a day before the exam. Sleep for at least six hours to keep yourself fresh on exam day. Also, they must eat light food a day before the exam.
Reach exam centre early: To avoid any panic situation on the day of the exam, try to reach the exam center one hour before the commencement of the JEE Main exam 2021.
Don’t waste too much time on a single question: Wasting too much time on one question will lead to frustration which will impact your confidence and efficiency. If you are not getting the answer on the very first try, then move on to another question. You can look for that question at the end of the exam if you have time.
