The Inter-Battalion Badminton Tournament 2024 was officially inaugurated today at the parade ground of the Group Centre, CRPF, Imphal. The opening ceremony, highlighted by a participant parade, featured battalions from IG, M&N Sector, and included 32 Bn, 69 Bn, 86 Bn, 87 Bn, 109 Bn, and 143 Bn. The event was marked by the presence of esteemed guests, enthusiastic participants, and spectators, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
Dr. Vipul Kumar, IPS, IG of the M&N Sector, CRPF, officially opened the tournament. In his address, he emphasized the importance of sports in fostering camaraderie, teamwork, strategic planning, and maintaining both mental and physical fitness among CRPF personnel. Dr. Kumar also praised DIG GC Imphal, Anil Kumar Bhardwaj, and his team for their efforts in organizing the tournament, which not only encourages healthy competition but also strengthens fraternity within the force.
