Leaked videos of executions and rape
Rallies, tear gas and pallets guns
Fired on students and civilians
We stand proud and bring in medals.
Abandoned by the leaders we elected,
Betrayed by the Kukis we protected!
Homes raided and bombed by the Army,
The forces sent in to end this brutality.
Have we all lost trust in humanity?
Innocents killed, children kidnapped and women beaten
Still we fight for what we believe in
From the hearts of millions who are broken
I am honored to bring this CONFESSION.
You may deal drugs and earn billions
Use the blood money to fund your campaigns
Turn a blind eye to all our pain and sorrows
Suppress the media to hide our truth
Bury your mistakes and blame the youth
Biding your time for the poppy you harvest
You’re in bed with the terrorist, I must confess.
We the Meitei will survive
One day at a time
