SOREPA condoles the demise of PREPAK/RA Malemnganba

The Socialist Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (SOREPA) has expressed condolences over the death of Nongthonbam Malemnganba alias Thonglen, a 27-year-old cadre of the People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) Red Army.
A statement by M.C. Yaiphabi, Secretary, Publicity & Organization SOREPA, Kangleipak said that Malemnganba, son of N. Shyamkeshor and Nonganlei Leima of Awang Wabagai Mamang Leikai, reportedly lost his life on August 30 during a confrontation at a frontline location along the Indo-Myanmar border. According to statements, the clash involved Indian armed forces and proxy units.
SOREPA noted that the young fighter fell while resisting an attack by its armed wing, the People’s Revolutionary Army (PRA), in the northern sector. The organization also extended solidarity to the bereaved family, describing his death as a sacrifice in the course of Manipur’s ongoing political conflict.
