Joint Students’ Coordination Committee – the student wing of JCILPS today said that there will be no turning back to the agitation even if the state assembly scheduled to be held sitting tomorrow has withdrawn the controversial MRVTMW Bill unless another Bill which ensure protection of the indigenous people of the state has been introduced and passed by the assembly session. Speaking to media persons at MSF office today afternoon Convenor of the Student Wing Jayentakumar Khuman said that government never act or listen to the demand of the public unless some people died or killed by the protest. He asked how many more has to be sacrificed for introduction of another bill. It is certain that government may fail to introduced another bill taking excuses of the time constraint. But this won’t calm the agitation. When asked about the line of agitation the student leader said as of now there is no meeting held with the parent body JCILPS. As the line of agitation cannot be decided by them alone a meeting will be convened soon he added.
However the student body leader warn of serious form of agitation if the demand of the public is not taken seriously by introducing a legislation to protect the indigenous people of the state.
