VDF may resume protest if their assured demands are not discuss in the ongoing session

“10,050 VDF personnel may initiate a mass protest after the assembly session which is still going on if their demands aren’t put up and discuss in the house”, said Riyaj khan
Speaking to media person on a press meet held at Manipur Press Club, General Secretary cum Spokesperson of All Manipur VDF Welfare Association Md. Riyaj Khan said that Chief Minister already assured to fulfill their demand by tabling the issue in the ongoing state assembly Budget session. The VDF are demanding increase of their honorarium.
But sadly as the Budget session which is going on will finish after a few days and still their demands have not been discussed in the session apprehension among the VDF personnel were felt, he said.
He warned that if their demands aren’t put up in the assembly session and their demands to increase the honorarium providing service security aren’t made, consequences of the intense agitation by 10,050 VDF personnel should be held responsible by the government.
