Union appeals to retain momentum

Joint Students Union of Higher Secondary Schools has appealed the people of Manipur to retain the momentum of the ongoing Inner Line Permit System movement and carry on various protest demonstrations.
Student volunteers and some pro-ILPS agitators are undergoing indefinite fasting demonstration demanding to implement a permit system for non-Manipuris in the state.
While informing that it would continue its protest demonstrations, the union also appealed all the people of Manipur to launch various democratic forms of protest apart from fasting across the state till the state government introduces a legislation to protect the indigenous people of Manipur.
