Young Manipuri Theater director Thwai Thiyam’s ‘Bacche’ will open the Northeast Play Festival which is being organized by National School of Drama (NSD) at at Abhimanch, New Delhi from August 24. Thawai Thiyam is the son of renowned theater director Ratan Thiyam and is a director of International acclaimed theater group – Chorus Repertory Theatre.
Two (2) plays each from Manipur and Assam and one Nepali play from Sikkim will enthrall the Delhites. The festival will move to Amritsar, Jaipur and Vadodara after Delhi and will conclude on August 28.
