After District Police has pick up three (3) volunteers of Democratic Students Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) who have been fasting at Thoubal Wangmataba Devi Mantop, two (2) more members of the students body came forward to carry on fasting at the same spot from today morning 7.30.
The duo fasting students have been identified as Moirangthem Roshni (16) of Wangjing Lamding Mayai Leikai, a student of Chouyaima Higher Secondary School, Thoubal and Jiranjit of Charangpat, a student of Thoubal Thoubal College who is also District Secretary Organisation of DESAM .
Speaking to media persons Jiranjit said that DESAM volunteers would continue their fasting demanding introduction of Inner Line Permit System in the state.
Meanwhile, president of DESAM, Moirangthem Angamba has visited fasting DESAM volunteers who have been admitted at different hospitals in the city.
