Thongju Kendra Tengbang Lup (TKTL) has announced its full support to intending candidate Seram Neken in the upcoming general election in Thongju assembly constituency.
In a press conference held at Manipur Press Club today, the TKTL spokesperson Konsam Diraj announced the decision to support Seram Neken, who is presently serving as Zilla Parishad Member of Imphal East district.
During the press conference participated by its President Oinam Romeo, General Secretary Jawan Mutum and others, the Spokesperson said that the Thongju Assembly Constituency is legging behind its counterparts in almost all fields.
In Education sector, Health sector and sports, there has been total negligence in infrastructure development. The river embankments of Imphal river and Kongba river are in a pathetic condition now causing frequent flood in the constituencies. In the farming sector, proper irrigation facilities have not been developed, thereby causing sufferings to the poor farmers.
In view of the pathetic condition of the Thongju assembly constituency, the TKTL with its over 800 members will contribute their possible support to Seram Neken in the coming election.
