The Foundation Day programme highlighted TCF’s significant contributions to the development of Manipur’s film industry over the past 19 years. These include regular screenings of critically acclaimed films followed by discussions, interactions with renowned filmmakers and storytellers, incubation labs for upcoming talents, pitching forums for film projects, and the promotion of reality-based storytelling through documentary screenings.
In addition to its creative initiatives, the foundation has also recognised the achievements of individuals in the field of cinema and provided financial support to its ailing members, reflecting a spirit of solidarity within the film fraternity.
Speaking on the occasion, the speakers acknowledged the foundation’s relentless efforts in promoting regional cinema and shaping a strong film community in the state. The celebration of its 19th year was seen not just as a milestone but as a reaffirmation of its commitment to uplifting Manipuri cinema and encouraging aspiring filmmakers.
