Suspected Rohingya started infiltrating the state

Imphal, Sept 8: A person who does not speak any of the Manipuri language and who appearance looks more like Rohingya was found loitering at Chairen area under Sugnu Police station. His body shows signed of injured due to tortured and the people of Chairen after taking him to the PHC and after providing first aid handed him over to the Sugnu Police station. Source said that he speaks a language whom no one around understands which make the people felt that he might be a Rohingya who escaped and illegally enter to the country due to the ongoing crisis at Rakhine state in Myanmar.
Mentioned may be made that security has been beefed up in the Indo Mayanmar border to prevent influx of Rohingya migrants in the state following directives from the state government.
