SSUM, MPPDU echoes condemnation spree over CM speech at Gujarat

Imphal, March 30: Socialist Students’ Union of Manipur (SSUM) and Manipur Proletariat Peoples Democratic Union (MPPDU) also joined the condemnation spree to the controversial statement of the Chief Minister N. Biren Singh at which he had established mythological linked with the NE region particularly with Manipur while speaking during the inaugural ceremony Madhavpur fair at Porbandar.
In a joint statement of the two organisation , it is stated that after long slumber the indigenous people were waked up after Laininghal Pullo had wake us all and slowly people are have been starting for protection and identity of the people of this region. The kind of act by the chief minister of Manipur is no different from what the King Pamheiba did in 17 century. The CM’s speech is more like a statement to gain blessing from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi or the BJP.
The statement said that Chief Minister’s statement for public function is advice by the advisor of the Chief Minister. If the statement of the Chief Minister was as per the advice of the advisor then it is better to take out such advisor.
