Locals of Lilong Khunou area today staged a sit-in-protest in front of Lilong Police Station denouncing the series of bomb attack to the AR post located near the Lilong Police station. A protestor identified as Azij Salouddin, while speaking to media persons said that during the last few days the AR post has been attacked 4 times by planting IED. On November 29 last year a bomb explosion had took the life of a minor boy, on December 17, 2014 another IED blasted near the AR post at Lilong and on January 11 this year, miscreants blasted under IED near the AR post. And on the following day an IED was found opposite to the AR post. Azij said that the frequent bomb attack and threats has created fear psychosis to the people living in the surrounding of the area. He appealed those responsible to shun violence in the area.
