Manipur State Medicinal Plants Board (MSMPB), Directorate of AYUSH in associated with Volunteers for Scientific Action on Rural Development (VOSARD),Lamding organized a One Day State Level Seminar on Medicinal & Aromatic Plants of Manipur at the Conference Hall of Lamding High School in Thoubal District today.
The State Level Seminar on Medicinal & Aromatic Plants of Manipur was Sponsored by National Medicinal Plant Board (NMPB),New Delhi, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India.

States”, “Role of Medicinal Plants in the Modern Health Care System”. While Dr. L. Promila Devi, Joint Director/Member Secretary, Manipur State Medicinal Plants Board (MSMPB) stressed on the topic of “Important role of Farmers for Collection and Storage of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants”.
During the program, an open discussion was also held on the topic “Medicinal & Aromatic Plants of Manipur” under the moderator of Dr. K. Lokendro Singh, Director of AYUSH, Government of Manipur. AYUSH & Homeo Doctors, College Teachers and ASHA’s from different Districts of the State also attended the programme.
