Proscribed group Revolutionary Peoples’ Front (RPF) today claimed responsibility to the attack carried out against troop of 54 Border Security Force (BSF) at Chinggol Melei Tampak Tourist Center, Heirok Part -2 in Thoubal district at around 10.10 am yesterday.
In a press statement of the out, Chief, Department of Publicity, RPF said that the attack was carried out by a special warfare group of its armed wing PLA. The statement also claimed to have wounded some of the BSF troopers in the attack.
