Dead body of a person was found today morning floated at Imphal River near Koirengei Water Supply under Heingang Police Station. The deceased has been later identifed as Salam Shyam (aged about 40 years) son of Salam Ibomcha of Thanga Lawai, presently staying at Sekmai Koujeng Leima. Family source said that the deceased left his home at around 2 pm of May 17 to collect vegetable but never return back. His dead body was found at around 9 am today. Police had deposited the death body at JNIMS Morgue.
