Imphal, April 28:

The People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) and its armed wing, the Red Army (RA), today paid tribute to two revolutionary cadres who recently lost their lives during an encounter at the Manipur-Myanmar border.
According to a statement issued by PREPAK’s Publicity Officer, Mangal Khuman, 2nd Lieutenant Oinam Telheiba @ Landaba (36) of the Meeyamgi Yawol Laanmee (MYL), the armed wing of Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL), and Lance Corporal Ahanthem Bishan @ Kanglei (29) of the Meeyamgi Fingang Lanmee (MFL), the armed wing of Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP), laid down their lives on April 25, 2025, during a confrontation against combined Indian Security Forces and their proxy forces.
The statement mentioned that the two revolutionary cadres were engaged in a critical operation intended to safeguard the integrity of Kangleipak (Manipur) when they encountered the combined enemy forces at the border areas. Their sacrifices were described as acts of supreme dedication toward the cause of national liberation.
In honour of their supreme sacrifices, PREPAK and its armed wing Red Army convened a memorial ceremony to express solidarity with the fallen heroes. Revolutionary songs were sung, floral tributes were offered, and their memory was upheld with deep respect and honor.
Family members, comrades, and sympathizers participated in the ceremony, pledging to carry forward the ideals for which the departed cadres had fought.
PREPAK reaffirmed its commitment to intensify the revolutionary struggle in pursuit of a sovereign Kangleipak. The party vowed that the sacrifices of the two martyrs would not be in vain and would serve as an enduring inspiration for future generations of revolutionaries.
