PLA claims killing of two Assam Rifles personnel

People’s Liberation Army (PLA), the armed wing of Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) today claimed that the outfit had killed two Assam Rifles personnel in a bomb attack.
The press statement signed by Roben Khuman, Secretary Publicity of Revolutionary People’s Front said that the two personnel belonging to 24 Assam Rifles were killed in the bomb attack which was carried out at around 4 pm of 31st December, 2014 near the post of 24 Assam Rifles at Kotha village.
It also claimed that the two personnel who have reached the spot first died on the spot and some other personnel were injured.
The press release also mentioned some other attacks which were carried out by the outfit as a part of Operation Jackal. As a part of the operation PLA killed one personnel of 16 Assam Rifles at around 11.30 am of 23rd December 2014 on the way between Mahadev and Litan by blasting a bomb. PLA carried out another bomb attack against the personnel of 49 BSF, D-Coy at around 10.45 am of 24th December, 2014 somewhere between Nongren and Nongpok Kakching.
RPF’s statement also reiterated the attacks carried out by its armed wing PLA in the year 2014 under operation Leopard. It owns the responsibility of the attacks against 21st AR on 26 January, 2014 at Sajik Tampak, ambush against 44 AR at Kamjong on February 8, ambush on the convoy of 24 AR CO at Kambang on 11th March and some other ambushes.
