2 KYKL apprehended

Troops of 2 Assam Rifles and Thoubal Police Commandos apprehended one KYKL cadre during a joint operation in the general area Tere Urak Ngamukhong on January 1. The apprehended was identified as Thounaojam Abungoba alias Meiraba alias Tombabu alias Sanathoi Meitei, (aged 22), S/o Th Thoiba Meitei, resident of Nongbram Mayai Leikai. One 9mm Pistol along with magazine and four live rounds of 9mm was recovered from his possession. The apprehended alongwith the recovered items has been handed over to the Yairipok Police Station.
On the same day, troops of the 6 DOGRA and another team of Thoubal Police Commandos apprehended an active cadre of KYKL from Pallel. The apprehended was identified as Sanasam alias Johnson alias Maniyai alias Abung, (aged 29), S/o S Deben Singh resident of village – Vangu Ahallup Awang Leikai, PO- Sugnu. The apprehended has been handed over to the Kakching Police Station.
