The Manipur Information Commission has announced the winners of the State-Level Spot Right to Information (RTI) Quiz Competition organised at five educational institutions across Manipur as part of the RTI Week Celebration 2026.
The competitions were held on October 6, 7 and 9, 2026, at TG Higher Secondary School, MB College, Modern College, Imphal College and CC Higher Secondary School.
At TG Higher Secondary School, Priyanka Tongbram of Class XII Arts secured the first position, followed by Minerva Thiyam of Class XII Arts and Tina Ahongshangbam of Class XI Science in second and third positions, respectively.
At MB College, Victor Meitei Khanmnam of the first semester, English Department, secured the first position. Khoirom Korou Singh of the first semester, English Department, stood second, while Hijam Robinson Singh of the first semester secured third position.
At Modern College, Yangkhubam Abu Hanif of the first semester, Statistics Department, won the first position. Mangshidam Loveson Singh of the first semester, Chemistry Department, secured second position, while DP Nasima Khatun of the third semester, Zoology Department, came third.
At Imphal College, Chontham Yaiphabi of the third semester, Chemistry Department, secured the first position. Oinam Sweety Devi of the first semester, Political Science, stood second, while Khundrakpam Elizabeth of the fifth semester, Chemistry Department, secured third position.
At CC Higher Secondary School, B. Barun Sharma of Class XI Science won the first position, followed by Ph. Wajid Ahemed of Class XI Arts in second place and Thoungamba Ng. of Class XI Science in third place.
According to a press release issued by the Manipur Information Commission on October 11, all winners and participants will receive certificates during the closing ceremony of the RTI Week Celebration 2026, scheduled for October 12 at 1 pm at the Auditorium Hall of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Government of Manipur, Imphal.
The winners will also be awarded cash prizes in recognition of their performance and achievements in the competition.
