Imphal, April 12
One of the famous cartoon comic strip ‘Makar’ which make Poknapham daily newspaper – a peoples’ choice newspaper of the state irrespective of cast, creed, community or gender is creating another history. Gurumayum Akshaykumar, the creator of the cartoon strip, today launched the Makar Poster Campaign at Aryan Proscenium Theatre. The idea of the poster campaign is to depict the reality of social evils, corruption, nepotism etc. by highlighting by Makar poster.
Professor Nongmaithem Tombi, Prof. Thoidingjam Tombi, Prof. Arambam Loken and Aribam Robindro Sharma, Editor of the Poknapham daily attended as dignitaries on the launching function of the “Makar Poster Campaign”.
