Two days after Congress party staged a one day fast protest at various part of the state joining the Nationwide campaign against the BJP, the BJP Manipur Pradesh today staged a one fast protest in front of their office at Nityapat Chuthek here in Imphal.
Rajya Sabha MP and state President, Kshetrimayum Bhavananda, Prahlad Singh Patel , MP, Prabhari , State Office Bearers, Ministers, MLAs, Senior Leaders and other leaders took part in the protest.
Vice President of BJP Manipur Pradesh, M.Ashnikumar Singh, while speaking on the occasion hit the congress on corruption charge.
“We have been living with corruption down the decades”, Ashini said.
He added that the recent continued disruption in the parliament by the congress is a clear indication for derailment to the functioning of India’s parliamentary democracy.
Disruption is totally unacceptable in Parliament System as representatives are sent to speak for the people on the floor, Ashini added.
