Locals of Sagolband Tera today nabbed a man who sold fake gold to a lady.
Salam Naobi (34), son of (late) Lokeshor, resident of Naoremthong Laishram Leirak yesterday sold a fake gold to Yambem Bidhu (60) of Sagolband Tera Yambem Leirak. Later her family realised the gold was fake and informed the same to the locals.
Today morning at around 6.00 am Naobi, unaware that the locals were waiting to nab him, came at the same place to sell another fake gold. The locals caught him and thrashed him. Later he was handed over to Lamphel Police.
