Proscribed group Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) wished the people of the region on occasion of its 42nd foundation day that will be held tomorrow.
A statement by the Central Committee of KCP said that the world today has become a global village. With the development of ICT (Information, Communication & Technology) the communication between people was improved, living style were also changed.
But the trait of one community was recorded by human beings and was able to engrave till today. Anthony Smith has given six Criteria to build one Ethnic Group, they are: 1. The Ethnic group should have their own name, 2. People who were in the Ethnic group should believe that they were the descendent of their ancestors, 3. The verbal story of the Ethnic group should be told each other, 4. One has to love their Motherland, 5. The Ethnic group should have their own religion, pre-existing kinship, own culture, 6. The people of the Ethnic group should know all the backgrounds of their group.
Smith also mentioned that a nation was made by one ethnic group or with different groups with same historical memories.
Benedict Anderson mentions that the nations were build by some groups that declare themselves as a Nation, now the term ethnic Identity has come.
In Ethnic groups there were two types which dwell in the mainland powerfully and one which were put in the side dimly. Mainland dweller wants to keep the nation in their hand and they do whatever they want. The ethnic groups have changes by time to time, these changes have been primarily made by the changes boundaries of the nation. As an example, in 1991 before the fractured of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, the people which were known as Yugoslav identity were changed to another identity, such as Serbs, Croats, etc.
