Joint Students’ Unions of DM College of Science, DM College of Arts and DM College of Commerce today restricted vehicles from entering the campus following government’s failure to improve the condition of the road encompasses through the campus of the three colleges.
The volunteers of Joint Students’ Union dug the road near the gate and did not allow the vehicles inside the campus. Speaking to media persons at DM College Campus, Yambem Ranjan, General Secretary of DM College of Science said that the Students’ Unions of these colleges already approached to the Chief Minister of the state and other concern Ministers to re-construct the road inside the campus of the DM College as the students, teachers and other commuters are facing problems because of the worst condition of the road. However, the government fails to take up any action till now. If the government does not pay any heed of it the Joint Students’ Union of DM College will launch indefinite class boycott from tomorrow.
